Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Sanitation Worker for 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, at the Culinary Support Center in Warren, OH. This full-time role focuses on sanitation programs, logging, safety protocols and pest control responsibilities.

Requirements include 3+ years of related experience; ServSafe certification is a plus; strong organizational and time management skills. AVI offers competitive pay, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacations, and growth

Qualifications

• 3+ years minimum related experience and/or training preferred. Sanitation experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of the rules and regulations that govern the foodservice industry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand all aspects of the sanitation and pest control programs.
• Maintain the formal SSOP for all equipment cleaning processes at the Culinary Support Center.
• Ensure proper logging, swabbing, testing, and adherence to strict safety protocols.
• Use safety equipment and cleaning tools to ensure team member safety.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory authority.
• Have the ability to titrate chemicals.
• Inspect equipment after cleaning to ensure proper sanitation and direct re-cleaning if necessary.
• Complete post cleaning checklist in accordance with the Sanitation Policy.
