Job summary

Meiji America Inc. | D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Co., Inc. is seeking a sanitation associate for multiple shifts. The role involves cleaning production areas, following MSS and SSOPs, and documenting sanitation activities in a warm, moist environment.

You will read chemical labels and SDS, participate in incident investigations, and ensure GMP and safety compliance while maintaining a clean, safe workplace. Shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read labels in English.
• Works safely with cleaning chemicals used for sanitation.
• Some cleaning experience required.
• Attention to detail.
• Physical stamina in warm, damp, low, at heights, and cold environments.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic computer skills to use email and online training.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and clean production areas using PPE in warm, moist environments.
• Evaluates sanitation effectiveness with visual inspection and chemical concentrations.
• Complete pre-operational inspections of equipment and document findings.
• Properly complete all sanitation documentation accurately and timely.
• Read MSS, SSOPs, chemical labels and SDS for compliance.
• Coordinate pest control and cleaning supplies; log chemical usage.
