Job summary

Boar's Head Brand in New Castle, IN is seeking a General Employee to assist in multiple departments. The role involves walking, lifting up to 40 lbs, and exposure to cold and wet conditions as part of a production environment.

You will work as part of a team to meet safety standards and product specifications, following GMPs and SOPs. Training is provided, and flexibility for duties is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic as required.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as described by the Department Supervisor/Lead.
• Keep pace with the line and work as a team player.
• Ensure product specifications are met safely and efficiently.

• Maintain clean and safe work area.

A General Employee assists in departments by performing a variety of duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Lead Person and/or Manager. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals.

Responsibilities
