Job summary

Amick Farms is seeking a dedicated sanitation associate to inspect equipment and verify cleaning in their area, while adhering to GMPs and plant safety rules. The role requires good communication, critical thinking, and knowledge of SSOP procedures.

You will report equipment issues, assist in other plant areas as needed, and contribute to safety, quality, yield and cost goals within a fast-paced production environment in Ward, SC.

Qualifications

• Oral communication and critical thinking are essential for daily operations.
• Adherence to Company standards, GMPs and safety rules is required.
• Knowledge of all equipment and cleaning procedures (SSOP) is expected.
• Knowledge of chemicals used in the plant is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds (occasionally more); ability to bend, squat, and climb repeatedly for an entire shift; job requires extensive use of the hands for long periods of time; long periods of standing; ability to adapt to varying work environments, such as waste, debris, wet, and cold or hot temperature. Ability to ascend/descend/work at various heights
