Job summary

Farmer's Fridge is hiring a Dishwasher in Chicago, with a Wednesday to Saturday shift from 2:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The role involves washing and sanitizing utensils and items in a GMP-focused dishwashing room, ensuring cleanliness and food safety standards are met.

You will stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate clearly in English while supporting a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Able to stand and work for long periods (8+ hours).
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication (English).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize tools, tubs, and items in the dishwashing area.
• Operate large commercial dishwashing machines following GMP basics.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing room.
• Execute research, data collection and special projections as delegated by the Sanitation supervisor.
• Keep Chemical Room and supplies organized and communicate needs to the Sanitation supervisor.
• Backup coverage for Sanitation Supervisor as needed.
• Support master sanitation and emergency projects as needed (ie. drain backups, spills, etc.).
