Job summary

Compass Group USA in San Fernando, CA is seeking a full-time Sanitation Service Technician to maintain and clean industrial food-processing equipment. The role requires prior manufacturing maintenance experience and the ability to work in temperature-controlled settings, including cold conditions.

You will perform deep cleaning, remove and reinstall equipment components, and support installations at accounts. Hours vary; weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning and sanitizing industrial food-processing equipment and production machinery.
• Hands-on ability to remove and reinstall equipment components for deep cleaning.
• Experience in a food manufacturing/processing environment following safety and chemical-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company vehicle.
• Contacts existing customers to assess service adequacy and resolves complaints.
• Inspects and tests machines after repair; replaces worn parts and adjusts components.
• Maintains inventory and orders parts; prepares machines for installation and removal.
• Sets up and operates tools and equipment for machine repair; performs other duties as assigned.

SANITATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

• We are hiring immediately for a full timeSANITATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN position.
• Location: Fresh & Ready - 1145 Arroyo Avenue, San Fernando, CA 91340. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Days and hours may vary; weekends required. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Pay Range: $20.00per hour to$24.00per hour.
• Additional Experience Requirements :
  • Experience cleaning and sanitizing industrial food-processing equipment, coolers, refrigerators, fans, and large production machinery.
  • Hands-on experience removing and reinstalling removable equipment components, such as fan covers, guards, and assemblies, for thorough deep cleaning.
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing, food processing, or industrial production environment while following food safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.

Job Summary

Summary: Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company-owned vehicle.
• Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listens to and resolves service complaints.
• Visually inspects and listens to machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantles machines to gain access to problem area.
• Inspects parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; removes and replaces worn or defective parts; repairs broken parts; realigns and adjusts components; tests machine operation following repair.
• Reviews inventory and orders parts; ships and receives machines; maintains equipment inventory.
• Prepares machines for installation at accounts; assists in installations and removals.
• Sets up and operates mechanical equipment and small hand tools, such as drills, grinders and welding torches, for machine repair.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
