Sanitation Technician

Overall Goal of Position: Performs cleaning and sanitation of the facility and equipment with guidance from Quality to support production, ensuring the safety and quality of our products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and lines
• Log and record all cleaning and sanitizing activities
• Maintain facilities for GMP compliance in food manufacturing
• Communicate with production regarding cleaning requirements
• Perform surface testing for organic tooling and log results
• Perform sanitizer concentration testing and log results
• Support manufacturing as directed
• Contribute to culture building and support sanitation programs

Performance Standards:

• Safety: Wear PPE, attend safety meetings, complete safety training, practice SafeStart concepts
• Quality: Maintain accurate paperwork, ensure sanitation standards are met
• Initiative: Proactively identify and address needs, suggest solutions
• Attendance: Punctuality and full shift attendance
• Communication: Maintain open, clear communication
• Integrity: Demonstrate responsible and honest behavior
• Teamwork: Foster positive relationships and handle conflicts effectively
• Job Knowledge/Training: Maintain current knowledge and training compliance
