SANITATION/PORTER (Finance)

Maintain safe and sanitary conditions throughout the store in adherence to company standards and health department regulations. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the exterior front entrance and sidewalk conditions, practicing safe food handling procedures, and providing customer service. Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to read, retain, and understand technical manuals
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to complete forms and communicate effectively
• Teamwork and safety awareness
• Good customer service skills

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous related work experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with store staff
• Practice safe food handling procedures
• Operate cleaning equipment to maintain store cleanliness
• Clean restrooms and refill supplies; dispose of trash
• Clean walls, vents, ceilings; exterminate pests; maintain refrigerated cases
• Move equipment for cleaning; replace light bulbs
• Maintain sanitation supplies; clean mats, rugs, and floors
• Mix cleaning agents safely; spread ice melt and shovel snow
• Perform minor equipment maintenance
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment; manage conflicts professionally
• Act with honesty and integrity; follow directions; assist customers, including minors and seniors
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodations

Salary Range: $15.25 - $15.55 per hour
