Job summary

McCain Foods USA, Inc. in Burley, Idaho is seeking a Sanitation Laborer to operate on a 12-hour day shift. Under limited supervision, you will perform cleaning and sanitation tasks across the plant, using high-pressure hoses and cleaning chemicals in a safety-conscious environment.

You will help support Production and Quality Control, follow sanitation standards, and maintain safe practices, including LOTO and JSA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Must be able to write routine reports and communicate clearly.
• Must have computer skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning and sanitizing of equipment.
• Clean and sanitize production and packaging areas and other areas.
• Flush, scrub, and sanitize ceilings, walls, floors, and surfaces.
• Clean mats, carts, and buckets used in production daily.
• Measure and mix appropriate chemical cleaning agents.
• Refill and distribute chemical containers as needed.
