Sanitation Machine/Facility Technician - 3rd Shift (Fri - Tues)

Join our team as a Sanitation Machine/Facility Technician - 3rd Shift (Fri - Tues) at Martin's Famous Potato Rolls and Bread.

Overview

Are you mechanically inclined? Do you enjoy taking machines apart and reassembling them? Are you experienced with hand tools or industrial chemicals? If so, we want you on our team! We started with handmade pastries in a garage and have grown into a multi-facility company producing and shipping products domestically and internationally. Responsibilities
  • Maintain food safety and quality through proper cleaning and sanitizing following SOPs.
  • Ensure the facility is audit-ready by adhering to cleaning schedules.
  • Use chemical agents to clean, sanitize, and prepare the facility for operation.
  • Clean lint, dust, oil, grease, and debris from the facility and equipment.
  • Operate cleaning and maintenance equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble machinery as needed.
  • Transport waste and maintain cleanliness outside the facility.
  • Follow safety protocols, including PPE usage and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Identify and report safety, food safety, and quality issues.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in bakery or manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Experience with boom and scissor lifts.
Physical Demands

Must be able to handle tools, reach, walk, sit, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Schedule & Compensation
  • Pay: $21.72/hour + $3.00 shift differential, plus weekend premium, profit sharing, 401K, health insurance, PTO, and more.
  • Schedule: 9pm - 5:30am on rotation, with possible overtime and schedule adjustments based on business needs.
