Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Sanitation Line Technician in Chatsworth, CA to support production lines with cleaning and sanitizing of sanitary process piping and equipment. The role includes forklift operation to move totes and assisting in piping setup for filling lines, on a 3rd shift (Tuesday–Saturday) schedule.

The ideal candidate follows instructions, works well in a team, and demonstrates strong attention to quality, safety, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize assemble and/or disassemble sanitary process piping, fillers, pumps, totes, valves and clamps as needed to transfer product from mix tanks, totes and bladders to filler machines.
• Operate forklift to move totes to and from fill lines.
• Build piping from pumps to tanks and/or production lines, assist in cleaning and sanitizing parts needed for fillers, mix tank, totes valves and process piping.
• Clean and sanitize high-speed filling lines in accordance with SOPs & GMPs.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour + depending on experience

Schedule: 3rd Shift / Tuesday - Saturday

Specific Responsibilities & Duties

• Clean, sanitize assemble and/or dissemble sanitary process piping, fillers, pumps, totes, valves (mechanical and pneumatic) clamps, etc. as needed to transfer product from mix tanks, totes and bladders to filler machines.
• Operate forklift to move totes to and from fill lines.
• Support production lines by building piping from pumps to tank and/or production lines, assist in cleaning and sanitizing of parts needed for fillers, mix tank, totes valves and process piping.
• Cleaning and sanitizing high speed filling lines in accordance with company SOP's & GMP's .
