Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a capable Sanitation Supervisor to lead the sanitation staff in our Kentucky facility. You will ensure sanitation, quality, and department efficiencies meet standards while coaching team members and driving performance development.

Responsibilities include overseeing GMP/SSOP training, conducting CIP audits, collaborating with DFA operations and QA&C, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in food science or related field (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
• 2–5 years sanitation or related experience with leadership attributes; supervisor experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsabilités

• Schedule, assign and monitor sanitation staff to meet the needs of the business; ensure effective selection, retention, feedback, disciplinary action, and performance management.
• Train employees in regard to sanitation standards, GMPs, SSOPs, and objectives; oversee policy enforcement.
• Implement and maintain sanitation programs and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving problems.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate activities and address sanitation issues.
• Conduct audits of sanitation and CIP processes to ensure SSOP compliance.
• Recommend improvements to sanitation methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Validate SSOPs annually or when systems are modified.
• Manage relationships with outside vendors (e.g., chemical supplier).
• Work cross-functionally with DFA operations, QA&C and chemical vendors to develop and improve sanitation programs and KPIs.
• Maintain safe working conditions and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Follow DFA GMPs and all regulatory requirements.
