Job summary

Jackson's Food Company is seeking a Sanitation Lead to oversee sanitation procedures, ensure a sanitary facility, and uphold SQF and HACCP plans. You will lead the sanitation team, coordinate with production and maintenance, and manage chemical inventories to protect product safety.

This role emphasizes leadership, training, and continuous improvement of sanitation processes, with opportunities to influence food safety culture within a fast-growing snacks manufacturer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility cleanliness and document compliance with regulatory standards.
• Create and coordinate sanitation plans aligned with food safety programs.
• Collaborate with production operations and maintenance on sanitation activities.
• Manage chemical inventory, PPE, and utensils for sanitation.
• Lead and supervise sanitation processes and schedules.
• Investigate opportunities to improve sanitation protocols for efficiency.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for sanitation needs.
• Provide leadership to the sanitation team and train staff.
• Ensure smooth shift setups and provide shift flexibility.
• Drive consistency through train-the-trainer sessions.
