Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of the 7 steps of sanitation.
• Experience with regulatory inspectors (AIB, BRC, OSHA, etc.). MS proficiency preferred.
• Experience handling food processing equipment and sanitation chemicals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand company documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly sanitation staff.
• Perform sanitation tasks following the 7 steps.
• Report safety concerns affecting employees.
• Train staff to meet sanitation objectives.
• Organize and distribute sanitation tasks.
• Monitor supplies and parts.
• Ensure GMP compliance.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Production teams to avoid delays.
• Monitor chemical mixing and handling.
• Clean areas to minimize downtime and equipment damage.
• Participate in pre-op briefs and address findings.
