Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Sanitation Lead at our Broadway manufacturing facility in Hanover, PA. You will assist the Sanitation Manager with daily cleaning and inspections of equipment used in processing and packaging of food products, and help lead the sanitation team.

Shift is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with every other Saturday. You will train staff, ensure GMP/SQF compliance, use proper lockout/tagout, and operate sanitation equipment after training.

Qualifications

• Sanitation or related industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to train and supervise team members.
• Familiarity with GMP, SQF and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily sanitation operations and inspections of equipment.
• Coordinate and support major cycle-ending cleanups with leadership.
• Train, supervise, and ensure safety of sanitation staff.
• Attend to sanitation equipment like can washers after certification.
