Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Lead to assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily departmental operations on the 1st shift in a U.S. poultry facility. The Lead ensures clear communication of the Supervisor’s instructions to team members and maintains accuracy, efficiency, and timely task completion.

Knowledge of all line positions and the ability to step in as needed are essential. The role requires a minimum of one year of Lead experience in a poultry processing environment, ability to read

Qualifications

• One year of lead experience in a poultry processing facility or related industry.
• Must be able to read labels, read recipes and follow instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned.
• Background checks may be required for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor with daily departmental operations and communicate instructions clearly to team members.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and on time.
• Know the positions within the line and fill in as needed to cover breaks.
• Monitor equipment performance and notify the Supervisor of maintenance needs.
• Maintain a safe, productive work environment and uphold Tyson policies and safety standards.
