Job summary

ofi North America (Olam Food Ingredients) is seeking a Sanitation Associate to support cleaning and sanitation of production areas, machinery, and facilities in accordance with food safety and GMP requirements. Reporting to the Sanitation Lead, you will operate across shifts as needed.

You will follow SOPs, work in a team, read paperwork, and stand for long periods while lifting up to 55 lbs. Benefits include paid holidays, paid sick leave, and a 401(k) match on Day 1.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, will take sanitation direction from the Sanitation Lead. Must be able to work in a variety of areas as needed. Assisting with the cleaning and sanitizing of the plant with regards to machinery, grounds, and all aspects of food safety requirements.

• Must adhere to all Food Safety, GMP, and Sanitation rules
• Able to follow directions and perform other tasks as requested
• Ability to function in a constantly changing environment with a variety of tasks
• Standing and working for long periods of time
• Ability to work on a ladder and in dusty environments
• Must be able to use all PPE to ensure personal safety

Experience You’ll Bring – Role Requirements

• Must be able to work 8 to 12-hour shifts depending on assigned tasks
• Ability to read and complete all paperwork associated with the hiring process, safety procedures and job duties
• Attention to detail and instruction provided on the job
• Work in a team setting and coordinate with team members daily
• Will be required to demonstrate good verbal communication with supervisors
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 55lbs.

The pay for this role is $15.39 per hour and is based on position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or other determining factors.
