Pilgrim’s De Queen Arkansas is hiring a Sanitation Worker for the 3rd shift. The role cleans production areas and completes mandatory safety and GMP training to keep our facility compliant and safe.

The work environment is cool (around 40°F) and requires standing for long periods. Starting pay is $19.15 per hour, plus an attendance bonus of $2.75 per hour if qualifications are met; schedule is Monday through Friday with some weekend work.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry experience is a plus.
• Skills: multitask, good communication, and teamwork.
• Physical: able to work in cool temperatures and stand for long hours.

What You’ll Need

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to multitask and work quickly, have good communication skills, ability to comprehend simple instructions and apply common sense, and must be a team player and be willing to work close to other employees at some stations. (Less than 3 feet apart.)
• Physical requirements: Ability to work in cool temperatures (around 40 degrees), ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day and lift 50 bs or more.
