Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Utility Associate to support food service operations at our New York locations. The role involves cleaning equipment, workstations, utensils and floors with chemical cleaners to ensure sanitary standards.

You will monitor ice levels, keg beers, bib sodas, and CO2 containers, and assist with loading and unloading supply trucks. Responsibilities include stocking, rotating products, transferring supplies between storage and work areas, and adhering to all HMSHost safety

Qualifications

• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
• Interacts with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Speaks, reads and comprehends instructions and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment, work tables, refrigerators and other equipment.
• Wash utensils, pots and pans by hand or in a dishwashing machine; return items to proper places.
• Load and unload supply trucks; stock, rotate and check product temperatures.
• Follow all security and safety procedures established by HMSHost.
