A leading municipal organization is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to perform complex construction activities, primarily through the operation of various heavy machinery. Ideal candidates will have experience in construction equipment operation, understand maintenance needs, and adhere to safety guidelines in a physically demanding work environment.
General Purpose
The Heavy Equipment Operator will perform highly complex and difficult construction and maintenance activities by operating a variety of heavy equipment.
Reporting Relationship
Reports to and is under the direct supervision of the Sanitation Department Supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.

Tools & Equipment Used
Motorized vehicles, various phone types. Proficient with and can use a grinder, torch, meter stick, tape measure, compactor, front loader, dirt scrapper, motor grader, bulldozer, water truck and skid steer.

Work Environment
