Richelieu Foods, Inc. is seeking a sanitation/janitorial team member in Wisconsin. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness in the compactor room, handling rubbish removal, and supporting a fast-paced production environment with attention to safety and GMP compliance.

Previous sanitation/janitorial experience is a plus; the position offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid time off. Starting hourly rate is $17.25 with potential overtime and shift differentials.

• Maintain sanitation and upkeep of the compactor room.

We provide products to many national retailers, wholesalers, distributors, club and mass stores, as well as industrial accounts including other food manufacturers.***Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Responsible for effective sanitation and upkeep of the compactor room.* Responsible for the collection and transportation of rubbish from production and warehouse areas.* Must be willing to walk throughout the facility repeatedly while moving rubbish carts.* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.* Must be detail oriented and be able to work independently.* Timely notification to Maintenance, Supervisor and/or Lead of equipment problems.* Notify Supervisor and/or Lead of actual or potential problems.* Must be able to follow verbal instructions from Supervisor and/or Lead.* Responsible for compliance with GMP’s, proper sanitation, and housekeeping in area.* Responsible for use of required safety equipment and complying with proper safety procedures including wearing proper protective clothing, steel toe boots, and safety goggles at all times.* Other duties as assigned by Management or volunteered for.**Preferred Qualifications*** Previous sanitation/janitorial experience a plus.**Pay and Benefits**The following information is provided in accordance with applicable state and local laws. Compensation is based on experience, geographic locations, and other legally permitted factors. The starting hourly rate is $17.25.
