Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Sanitation Worker to help maintain a clean and safe food production environment. You will clean and sanitize production areas, participate in mandatory safety and food safety/GMP training, and support a fast-paced facility.

Candidates should be able to work in a refrigerated environment, lift up to 40 lbs, and stand for long periods. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. Pilgrim’s is committed to safety and compliance.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Work in a fast paced environment, with repetitive motion work
• Ability to work overtime as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

Experience / Work History

• Prefer previous manufacturing experience
