Job summary

El Milagro Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to lead our food-safety sanitation program and ensure GMP compliance.

You will drive continuous improvement, train staff, and coordinate with Quality, Production and Shipping to protect product integrity. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on sanitation experience, a high school diploma, HACCP/SQF certifications, and bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of hands-on sanitation experience.
• SQF levels 1,2,3; HACCP; FASMA certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Support plant safety and GMP adherence, lead sanitation program, and work with inspectors.
• Coordinate sanitation training, scheduling, and records; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead sanitation team, manage labor costs and chemical suppliers; ensure timely cleaning per SOPs.
