Job description

Overview

The Warehouse Sanitation/Custodian will perform various sanitation and custodial duties to ensure the warehouse remains hazard-free.

Responsibilities

1. Removes debris, cleans, and sanitizes warehouse aisles and product slots.
2. Provides sanitation support throughout the warehouse.
3. Maintains work area in a clean and hazard-free condition.
4. Assists in lawn care around the property as needed.
5. Removes debris, cleans the outside property and break areas as needed.
6. Assists with scanning, sorting, and re-packing products returned from stores for resale.
7. Assists with stacking products up to 72 inches for storage.

Qualifications

• The ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving products up to 70 lbs.
• The ability to continuously walk, bend, and stoop.
• Six months’ experience preferred in operating an electric pallet jack or other warehouse machinery.
• Experience in using lawn care equipment such as riding and push lawn mowers, weed trimmers, and other lawn and tree trimming tools.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Overtime and weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes.
