Job summary

LiDestri Food and Drink in Fresno is seeking a Sanitation - CIP I operator for the 3rd shift (10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.). This full-time role focuses on safe, efficient cleaning of equipment per production schedules and sanitation standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, plus LO/TO, HAACP, HECP and chemical training. Prior chemical handling is preferred, with PPE worn as required to maintain safe work conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• LO/TO, HAACP, HECP and chemical training required.
• Ability to wear PPE including cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net and safety footwear.
• Previous chemical handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to apply math functions and reasoning in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning circuits, setup, and pipe swings.
• Check to ensure proper chlorine levels at coolers.
• Perform cream tank receiving, maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain chemical equipment and deliver chemicals as requested.
• Clean drains, traps, and caps; use caustic and other cleaners.
• Inspect areas to meet AIB standards and notify management of issues.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Report food safety and quality concerns to authorized personnel.
• Complete MSS for daily, weekly, monthly tasks in Redzone.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Assisting in all duties and responsibilities to ensure equipment and machinery is cleaned in a safe and efficient manner based on the production schedule and in compliance with the approved health and sanitation practices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with cleaning circuits, set up, and performpipe swings
• Check to ensure proper chlorine levels at coolers;
• Perform cream tank receiving, maintenance and cleaning;
• Maintain chemical equipment and deliver chemicals as requested;
• Clean drains, traps, and caps per cleaning scheduled and as required;Perform standardized cleaning and procedures with caustic and other cleaning chemicals and assist with changeover of parts;
• Inspect all areas to ensure AIB standards are met and notify management of any concerns unable to be resolved;
• Ability to work a flexible schedule;
• Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Complete MSS as assigned for daily, weekly, monthly, tasks in Redzone

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED;
• LO/TO, HAACP, HECP and chemical training required;
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots);
• Ability to wear additional PPE while participating in a CIP not limited to: chemical suits and boots and face shield.
• Previous experience working chemicals, preferred but not required;
• Ability to apply computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to:
• Long periods of standing/moving, working around moving mechanical parts/conveyors
• Loud environment, hot/cold, wet/dry conditions
• Lifting/carrying 50 pounds
• Frequent reaching/pulling/climbing stairs/stooping/kneeling/bending
