Job summary

Rosina Food Products, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Chemical Operator in Buffalo, NY. This role is purely sanitation-focused and does not include production duties.

You will clean and sanitize equipment, follow SOPs, and uphold food safety standards to prepare for the next day’s operations. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or with a team. Shift differential of $1.50/hr applies on 3rd shift, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience in sanitation, manufacturing, janitorial, or food production preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Attention to safety and food safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and processing areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
• Follow sanitation procedures and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP, and company food safety standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

This is a dedicated sanitation position—no production work is performed in this role. As a Sanitation Chemical Operator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our production equipment and facility are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for the next day's operations while maintaining the highest food safety standards.

What You'll Do

As a Sanitation Chemical Operator, You Will

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and processing areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for proper cleaning.
• Follow sanitation procedures and standard operating practices.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP, and company food safety standards.
• Safely handle sanitation chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Identify and report equipment or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support food safety initiatives throughout the facility.
• Perform additional sanitation duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This Position Requires The Ability To

• Stand and walk for the duration of your shift.
• Frequently lift up to 60 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
• Push carts and lugs weighing up to 500 lbs.
• Work in wet, humid, hot, cold, and loud manufacturing environments.
• Wear all required PPE throughout the shift.
