Job summary

HelloFresh in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sanitation Associate to support the production team by keeping equipment, floors and surfaces clean and sanitized in a temperature-controlled environment.

You will learn sanitation procedures on day one; no prior experience required, training provided. You must be 18+, speak/read English, and can lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive hourly pay, 401K, PTO and health benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Speak, read, write, and understand English at an intermediate level.
• Previous sanitation/janitorial experience is preferred, but training will be provided on day one.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all food production equipment, machinery, tables, mats, sinks, drains and surfaces.
• Sanitize kitting and packing areas and surfaces.
• Work in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Follow safety standards and requirements.

Job description

The Sanitation Associate performs typical sanitation tasks to support the production team and the entire facility up to and including removing waste, debris and refuse, transporting empty boxes to compactors, monitoring outside of facility for waste and debris, sanitizing equipment and floors at end of shifts, cleaning and sanitizing tools and receptacles and other custodial functions as needed.

Shifts Available

• Wed–Sat, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Wed–Sat, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM (2 openings)

You are...

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of all food production equipment and machinery. (I.E. Production machines, tables, mats, compost bins, sinks, drains, walls, and any surface that is scheduled for sanitation duties.)
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all kitting and packing equipment and surfaces.
• Working in a temperature-controlled environment
• Regularly lifting and moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting and moving up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
• Understanding and adhering to all safety standards and requirements

At a minimum, you...

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Speak, read, write, and understand English at an intermediate level.
• Previous experience working in sanitation/janitorial preferred, however no experience necessary, you will receive training on your first day!.
