CJ Schwan's is hiring for a full-time sanitation technician on the 1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) in a food manufacturing setting. You will operate COP systems, follow sanitation schedules, and document activities to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of related experience, and fluent bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Starting pay ranges from $23 to $26 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and 2 weeks PTO in your first year.

• Operate Clean-Out-of-Place (COP) systems and perform detailed disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of production equipment to meet sanitation standards.
• Follow established sanitation schedules to clean and sanitize facility infrastructure and production lines, documenting all activities in compliance with regulatory and company protocols.
• Accurately mix, apply, and document chemical usage, ensuring correct concentrations and applications for effective cleaning and sanitation.
• Conduct inspections and internal audits to verify sanitation effectiveness, ensuring all equipment meets microbial safety and cleanliness standards.
• Adhere to all OSHA safety requirements, GMPs, and food safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
