Schwan's Company is hiring for a full-time sanitation role in our food manufacturing environment. The starting pay is $19.50 per hour, with an additional $1.50 shift differential from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The position is on the 2nd shift (6pm-6am) with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package. • High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 year of related sanitation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety standards (OSHA, GMP) and sanitation policies.
• Comfortable in hot/cold and wet/dry environments.
• Flexible to work full-time, overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Operate steam and high-pressure hoses to sanitize equipment and facility.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as directed.
• Follow sanitation schedules and document routine cleaning of the facility and production line.
• Use and document chemical concentrations for appropriate applications.
• Verify and document correct chemicals and concentrations and complete cleaning to pass micro indicators.

What You Will Do:

• Operate steam and high-pressure hoses while safely cleaning and sanitizing equipment, tools, and facility to ensure all soil and contaminates are removed per procedures.
• Disassembling and reassembling equipment as directed.
• Following sanitation schedules to conduct and document routine cleaning of the facility and production line.
• Using and documenting chemical use to stated concentrations and for appropriate applications.
• Verifying and documenting that correct chemicals and concentrations are used and that cleaning and sanitizing is complete to deliver equipment and infrastructure that is clean and passes all micro indicator tests.

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or GED preferred with 0--1 year of related experience in sanitation, food manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of facility cleaning procedures and compliance with safety standards (OSHA, local, state, and federal) and GMPs.
• Ability to follow regulatory, customer, and company sanitation policies and procedures.
• Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including hot/cold and wet/dry areas.
• Flexible availability to work full-time, overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as required.
