Job summary

Zaro's Bake Shop Inc is seeking a sanitation technician to ensure daily cleaning and sanitation routines are completed in our manufacturing and warehouse environment. The role supports production by keeping work areas clean and compliant with safety standards.

Shift runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and reliable transportation is required. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in hot or cold conditions while maintaining punctual

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the cleaning schedule for assigned bakery areas.
• Clean dirties in the dish room using machine or 3 bay sinks.
• Clean plant areas by mopping, sweeping, wiping, and related tasks.
• Assist production staff with line breakdowns and cleanup as needed.
• Exterior cleaning of machinery as scheduled.
• Complete deep cleaning tasks to ensure audit readiness.
• Regularly empty garbage bins and follow sanitation procedures.
• Clean restrooms, common and office areas.

Description

Role: To ensure sanitation routine and cleaning schedules are completed daily in a manufacturing & warehouse environment.

Shift: Monday - Friday 3pm - 1130pm. must have reliable transportation

Essential Job Responsibilities:

The following duties are general and particular to this position. Responsibilities may vary based on the needs of the business.

Adherence to the cleaning schedule for assigned areas throughout the bakery.

• General cleaning of all dirties in the dish room using combination of machine and or 3 bay sinks.
• Ensure different areas of the plant are cleaned by mopping, sweeping, wiping, etc.
• Assist production staff with breaking down of lines and cleaning up projects as needed.
• Responsible for the exterior cleaning of machinery as scheduled.
• Completion of assigned deep cleaning task to ensure plant is audit ready.

Task may include scrubbing, and sanitizing walls, floors, baseboards, staircases, ovens, tables, sinks, drains, trash cans, electric cord reals ect.

• Regular emptying of garbage bins following the timeline.
• Follow all sanitation procedures as outlined by the manager.
• Clean restrooms, common and office areas.
