Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Kentucky is seeking a Sanitation Associate to uphold high sanitation standards across our production floors, ensuring safety and quality for brands like Arnold, Sara Lee, and Thomas’.

You will disassemble and assemble equipment for cleaning, operate cleaning machinery, and follow SSOPs and Food Quality Plans. Must be 18+, able to lift 50 lbs, and work nights, weekends, and holidays; English communication is required. This is an on-site role in a dynamic bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sanitary standards and quality control.
• Disassemble and assemble equipment for cleaning, set up lines prior to production.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment such as rack washers, power washers, steamers, dryers.
• Follow SSOPs and Food Quality Plans.

Sanitation Associate

• Great starting pay! $23.53/ hour.
• Shift Varies: Must be available to work all shifts 1st Shift (morning), 2nd Shift (afternoon) and 3rd Shift (night/overnight).

What you will be doing:

• The Sanitation Associateis responsible for any number of duties to ensure high quality sanitation standards.
• Efficiently disassemble and assemble equipment for proper cleaning, set up line equipment prior to production run.
• Safely operate equipment and machines used in the cleaning process, including rack washer, power washer, steamer, washer extractors and dryers, etc.
• Follow the Food Safety, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) & Food Quality Plans.

What we need from you:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
