Job summary

Quirch Foods, LLC is seeking a dedicated janitor to maintain clean, safe facilities in our Medley, FL warehouse. The role demands cleaning equipment and floors, restrooms, and common areas, with PPE provided for refrigerated environments. You will follow safety procedures, work as part of a team, and report issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Two years of related field experience.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials handling, application and disposal.
• Experience cleaning in a cold warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and with a team without continuous supervision.
• Physical ability to kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, bend and lift 20–50 lbs.
• Work in refrigerated/freezer environments with PPE provided.
• Commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment, work areas, paint mixing area, and other areas around the warehouse.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Perform janitorial duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and general cleanup of outside areas around the office.
• Remove trash from all office spaces and surrounding areas.
• Work safely in accordance with company safety rules and procedures, keeping work area clean and orderly.
• Maintain food safety standards.
• Respond to emergency situations as required.
• Report any warehouse issues to supervisor or managerial staff.
• Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with co‑workers.
• Maintain all restrooms sanitary.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Physical requirements: must be able to kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, bend, etc. with comfort and ease; must also be able to move objects weighing between 20 and 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments (PPE provided).
• Ability to solve problems in independent and team setting.
