Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean equipment, work area, paint mixing area, and other areas around the warehouse.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Perform janitorial duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and general clean‑up of outside areas around the office.
- Remove trash from all office spaces and surrounding areas.
- Work safely in accordance with company safety rules and procedures, keeping work area clean and orderly.
- Maintain food safety standards.
- Respond to emergency situations as required.
- Report any warehouse issues to supervisor or managerial staff.
- Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with co‑workers.
- Maintain all restrooms sanitary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Two years of experience in a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge and skill in hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal.
- Knowledge of washing and cleaning in a cold warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
- Physical requirements: must be able to kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, bend, etc. with comfort and ease; must also be able to move objects weighing between 20 and 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments (PPE provided).
- Ability to solve problems in independent and team setting.
