Job summary

Quirch Foods in Lakeland, FL is seeking a janitorial associate to clean equipment, floors, restrooms, and surrounding areas in a warehouse and office environment. You will follow cleaning procedures and safety rules while maintaining food safety standards in a refrigerated setting.

Responsibilities include trash removal, general cleaning, and responding to emergencies as needed. The role requires lifting 20–50 lbs and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a related field preferred
• Knowledge of hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal
• Ability to work in refrigerated/freezer environments and lift 20–50 lbs
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
• Safety-conscious with ability to work independently or in a team

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment, work area, paint mixing area, and other areas around the warehouse
• Vacuum, mop, dust, clean bathrooms, and perform general cleanup of office surroundings
• Remove trash from all office spaces and surrounding areas
• Respond to emergencies and report warehouse issues to supervisor
• Maintain restrooms sanitary and follow company safety rules at all times
