Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly.
The Sanitation Associate has primary responsibility for ensuring the egg processing room is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to meet all food safety and quality standards. This role is essential to creating a safe, efficient, and compliant processing environment by maintaining cleanliness across equipment, surfaces, and work areas.
Part time hours that can be scheduled Monday–Thursday, between the hours of 4 pm and 9 pm. The amount of hours may vary based on the level of cleaning needed each day.
At times the Sanitation Associate will be privileged to information that should not be shared. The incumbent must maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties of the Sanitation Associate. The incumbent must also demonstrate the following personal attributes:
This position requires frequent standing and movement throughout the facility, with occasional walking, climbing stairs or ladders, reaching, handling objects, and communicating. Sitting may be required at times. Employees must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly. Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus. The work environment may involve occasional exposure to airborne particles, chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, moving machinery, vibration, and temperature extremes. Noise levels typically range from moderate to loud.
