Job summary

Role Overview: This position involves unloading products from trucks, breaking down pallets, and organizing inventory within a warehouse environment. It supports various tasks such as sanitation, product selection, inventory control, and truck maintenance, including fueling and cleaning trailers. The role requires assisting with damage checks, verifying product accuracy, and assembling customer orders by selecting, palletizing, and labeling items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks, breakdown pallets, and organize products on warehouse racks.
• Handle cases, boxes, and pallets of various grocery products, including perishable and frozen items.
• Assist with sanitation duties and truck maintenance tasks.
• Verify product condition and accuracy of received shipments.
• Participate in order picking, palletizing, and labeling for customer orders.
• Operate industrial equipment such as pallet jacks and ensure safety standards are maintained.
• Report damaged products, low stock, and safety issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and assist with product rotation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; warehouse experience is a plus.
• Experience with industrial equipment operation preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, crouching, and reaching.
• Strong communication skills in English, with basic reading, writing, and arithmetic abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and adapt to changing work demands.
• Commitment to safety practices and working in multi-temperature environments.
• Flexibility to work in various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
