Job summary

Monogram Foods in Chandler, MN is seeking an Entry Level Sanitation Team Member to support production by cleaning around machines, maintaining PPE carts, and complying with GMP guidelines during the 3rd shift. This full-time role offers hands-on training and opportunities to contribute to startup of production.

You will read scales, operate a manual pallet jack, and follow batch paperwork while ensuring safety and quality in a humid, noisy, temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Clean around machines and equipment, including condensation in production areas and floor spill management.

Salary Range: $18.96 - $23.02 Hourly

Job Shift: 3rd Shift

Position Summary, Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• As a Team Member in the sanitation department, one must be able to clean around the machines and equipment, which includes condensation in production areas and if something falls or is dropped on the floor.
• Also needs to keep PPE cart full throughout the assigned shift.
• Dependable – must be reliable and responsible to help production start-up
• Pays attention to details i.e paperwork (batch and spec sheets)
• Must be able to read and use a scale (grams, oz, lbs) and a calculator
• Must have knowledge on how to use the manual pallet jack
• Must wear appropriate PPE (frock, gloves if necessary, ear plugs, safety shoes/boots)
• Must comply with all GMP i.e appropriate handwashing
• Must be able to perform any and all duties as assigned

Physical environment/working conditions:

This position is physically demanding as the employee will be expected to walk, stand, lift, use hands, fingers and arms to handle, feel and reach. This position is regularly exposed to wet, humid, warm, and cold temperatures as well as excessive levels of noise.
