Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Sanitation Teammate to maintain clean offices, DC, and transportation areas. You will vacuum, mop, empty trash, sanitize restrooms, and keep break rooms and entryways tidy.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a warehouse environment. The position runs Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm with benefits starting on day 60, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform tasks safely and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in offices, DC, and transportation areas.
• Vacuum and mop floors, empty trash, wipe surfaces, and clean windows/walls.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies.
• Clean break rooms, entrances and locker areas, and wash windows.
• Sweep/mop floors in DC/Transportation areas and manage pallets.
• Maintain grounds, cut grass, and empty cigarette cans.
• Paint interior and exterior of the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour.
• Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

What you'll do as a Sanitation Teammate:

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Offices: vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash cans, wipe surfaces, clean windows /walls, etc.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize surfaces, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies, etc.
• Break rooms, entrances and locker areas: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies, etc.
• DC / Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets.
• Division Grounds: Pick-up / empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans
• Painting inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
