The core responsibilities of this role include maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment through routine cleaning, waste removal, and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and common spaces. Position: First (1st) Shift Sanitation; Shift: Monday - Friday 6AM - 2:30 PM; Pay: $20.65 per hour.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift-training program within 30 days of employment.
• 0–6 months general warehouse experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean warehouse, offices, docks, and trailers using appropriate equipment.
• Safely handle and mix cleaning chemicals per safety guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation logs and required documentation.
• Remove trash, recyclables and hazardous materials daily.
• Repair damaged pallets and keep exterior property clean.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $20.65 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of the facility, including work areas, floors, docks, and common spaces, for most of the shift.
• Safely handle, mix, and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA, MSDS, and company safety guidelines.
• Conduct daily inspections of cleaning tools and equipment; report any damage or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate sanitation logs, checklists, and required documentation.
• Ensure proper waste removal and disposal of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work environment always.
• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.

Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in and around company facilities

Key Accountabilities

• Clean warehouse utilizing a variety of equipment and products.
• Remove all refuse from offices and building daily.
• Repair damaged pallets.
• Remove ice and snow from walkways and parking lots.
• Wash and sweep inside of trailers.
• Clean break room and work areas.
• Maintain exterior property, keeping it clean and orderly.

Required Education and Experience

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program with the first 30 days of employment
• 0-6 months general warehouse experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
