Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Sanitation role on the 2nd shift. The position supports a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment with routine cleaning, waste removal, and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and common spaces.

The ideal candidate will perform routine and deep cleaning, handle, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals per OSHA/MSDS guidelines, and maintain sanitation logs with required documentation. Onsite role with full-time benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift-training within 30 days of employment.
• 0–6 months general warehouse experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean warehouse using a variety of equipment and products.
• Remove refuse from offices and buildings daily.
• Repair damaged pallets.
• Remove ice and snow from walkways and parking lots.
• Wash and sweep inside of trailers.
• Clean break room and work areas.
• Maintain exterior property, keeping it clean and orderly.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of the facility, including work areas, floors, docks, and common spaces, for most of the shift.
• Safely handle, mix, and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA, MSDS, and company safety guidelines.
• Conduct daily inspections of cleaning tools and equipment; report any damage or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate sanitation logs, checklists, and required documentation.
• Ensure proper waste removal and disposal of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work environment always.
• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
