Job summary

Performance Food Group in Missouri is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate to uphold a clean and safe work environment across dry, cooler and freezer areas. You will perform general janitorial tasks and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Schedule is Tue-Sat 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You must pass a post-offer drug test and background check; pallet jack experience is preferred. We offer Day 1 benefits, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months sanitation/janitorial experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs general janitorial and sanitation tasks in the warehouse (dry, cooler, and freezer areas).
• Handles cleaning chemicals following hazmat material sheets.
• Completes assigned Pure Safety training modules on schedule.
• May operate pallet jack to transport refuse or supplies.

Position Purpose:

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Tues - Sat 8:30AM - 5:00PM
