Job summary

Sysco International Food Group, Inc. in Tampa is seeking a facilities/maintenance team member to support the general upkeep, repair, and appearance of the facility and adjacent grounds.

You will help ensure safety and security of the building, its contents, and personnel, while maintaining designated areas to Sysco standards. The role involves cleaning duties across the warehouse, break rooms, restrooms, and exterior zones, with in-house supply ordering for sanitation needs.

Qualifications

• HSD or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year reach truck experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. often and up to 80 lbs. occasionally and able to work in both ambient and freezer temperatures.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Spill clean up and operation of the warehouse floor cleaning equipment.

JOB SUMMARY

This is an Operations position responsible the general maintenance, repair, and appearance of the facility and outside grounds. Responsible to assist in ensuring the safety and security of the building, its contents and people. Also responsible for keeping designated areas (warehouse, break room, restrooms and certain exterior areas) clean to Sysco standards. This includes ordering supplies in house for sanitation use. All duties to be performed within the guidelines of the Sysco Preferred Work Methods.
