Sysco International Food Group, Inc. – IFG Tampa is seeking a full-time sanitation associate for the Plant City facility.

The role covers general maintenance, cleaning, and appearance of the facility and exterior areas, with a focus on safety and security of the building and its contents. The responsibilities include keeping break rooms and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies, and assisting with sanitation of warehouse spaces.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year reach truck experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and up to 80 lbs occasionally; work in ambient and freezer temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Clean the break room.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Spill cleanup and operation of warehouse floor cleaning equipment.
• Clean and restock restrooms.

Responsible to assist in ensuring the safety and security of the building, its contents and people. Also responsible for keeping designated areas (warehouse, break room, restrooms and certain exterior areas) clean to Sysco standards. This includes ordering supplies in house for sanitation use.
