Job summary

WGM Group seeks a talented Sanitarian in Kalispell, MT to perform regulatory work supporting land development projects. The role involves obtaining disposal system and water supply permits per Montana DEQ and local rules.

Responsibilities include designing onsite systems, assisting engineers, coordinating with authorities, and preparing permit applications. Candidates should have a relevant degree, 5 years of experience, and Montana RS certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Environmental Science, Biology, Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Five years of job-related experience.
• Registered Sanitarian Certification from Montana within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support land development engineers with planning and regulatory compliance for onsite facilities.
• Design onsite water and wastewater systems.
• Coordinate well and septic approvals with local authorities.
• Prepare reports and permit applications.
• Train staff engineers and junior staff.
