Job summary

Groupe Bonduelle Fresh Americas is seeking a Sanitarian to support sanitation and housekeeping in a manufacturing environment. The role works closely with leads to ensure production areas meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards in a refrigerated facility.

You will follow GMP and safety policies, perform cleaning tasks, document activities, and use chemicals to sanitize surfaces. The position requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work in cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP procedures and safety policies.
• Report equipment failures to Sanitation Manager/Supervisor.
• Set up and tear down production equipment for cleaning.
• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize surfaces.
• Inspect equipment before line release.
• Document tasks on sanitation checklist.
• Wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Clean conveyor belts, floors, walls, and other areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

This role is a key position within our manufacturing plants and supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production. This position works directly with an experienced Sanitarian (Level 2) to ensure the proper sanitation of production equipment and areas.

What you will Do:

• Follow all GMP procedures.
• Follow all Food Safety, Food Quality and Food Security Policies.
• Report any equipment failure to the Sanitation Manager/Supervisor.
• Set up and tear down production equipment as needed to perform specific cleaning applications.
• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize food contact and non-food contact surfaces.
• Inspect all equipment before releasing the line to the Sanitation Manager / Supervisor for inspection.
• Responsible for documentation of job tasks performed on sanitation checklist.
• Must wear protective equipment and follow all safety procedures (PPE'S).
• Use basic cleaning hands tools to ensure proper and safe cleaning of conveyor belts, floors/walls, trashdock, and other areas of the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
