Job summary

Partnership for Families, Children and Adults in Jasper, TN is seeking a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) to provide trauma-informed care to victims of assault. This full-time role involves conducting comprehensive forensic exams, collecting evidence, and coordinating with law enforcement and advocates to support survivors in critical moments.

Qualifications

• Active RN or APRN license in good standing.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience with strong assessment skills.
• Formal SANE training (40+ hours) recognized by IAFN or state boards.
• Calm under high stress with trauma-informed, patient-centered advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Forensic examinations with head-to-toe medical-forensic assessment and evidence preservation.
• Collect and package forensic evidence, document injuries, take photographs.
• Assess acute injuries, provide prophylaxis and emergency contraception as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, victim advocates, social workers, and prosecutors.
• Provide testimony as a witness when required.
