Become part of our Café team, where you'll be in a collaborative atmosphere that encourages learning and creativity, including developing your own sandwich specials! Our Café Sandwich Maker prepares a variety of culinary delights—from eclectic to classic—including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and meat options. These are available at our sandwich and salad stations (signature and made-to-order) and our “grab and go” case, offering delicious food for guests to enjoy in the café or at home. The ideal candidate will:

• Select ingredients carefully and assemble sandwiches and salads thoughtfully, neatly, and efficiently
• Go above and beyond to accommodate guest requests
• Respect the need for speedy and accurate service
• Maintain the salad bar and soup station, ensuring they are abundant, spotless, well-labeled, and stocked with fresh ingredients
• Manage prep lists, pars, and ingredients for the salad bar and sandwich station
• Be a team player, communicating needs to the Chef, Managers, and Culinary Director
• Bring a positive attitude daily, infusing energy into the kitchen and the HL community

Hours: Part or Full Time; weekend availability required

Pay: Starts at $17.00/hour plus tips; previous experience considered

Location: 222 Dorset Street, South Burlington, VT
