Job summary

Wally’s Wine & Spirits in Las Vegas is seeking a passionate Sandwich Artist / Cheesemonger to join our culinary and retail team. Build premium displays, prepare cheese, charcuterie, sandwiches, caviar, accoutrements, and to-go orders, and guide guests through selections with warmth and product knowledge.

You’ll work in a fast-paced luxury marketplace, maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety, support daily prep and closing procedures, and collaborate with a knowledgeable team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in culinary, specialty food, cheese, charcuterie, or hospitality roles.
• Interest in cheese, gourmet foods, wine culture, and elevated guest experiences.
• Strong communication and guest engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present cheese, charcuterie, sandwiches, caviar, accoutrements, and specialty items for restaurant, retail, catering, and event orders.
• Create polished, guest-ready displays reflecting premium standards.
• Guide guests through selections with warmth and product knowledge.
• Prepare boards, sandwiches, and to-go orders with consistency and care.
• Operate kitchen and retail equipment safely (slicers, cheese cutters, sandwich presses).
• Support daily station setup, prep, stocking, packaging, and closing procedures.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, food safety, and presentation.
