Job summary

Rottinghaus Company Inc., Subway® is expanding in Wichita, Kansas and seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Sandwich Artists. No prior experience required; paid training is provided to learn subs, prep, baking, packaging and customer service.

You'll greet guests, craft subs to standard formulas, operate the cash register, and keep the store spotless. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred but training is provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn sandwich preparation and food safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Craft subs and packaging to standard formulas.
• Welcome guests with a warm smile and provide friendly service.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Keep the store clean and organized, including front and back areas.
• Assist with prep of fresh ingredients and daily closing tasks.
• Support safety and cleanliness routines in the store.

What You’ll do:

• You’ll be the face of Subway®, crafting delicious, picture-perfect subs and delivering smiles with every order. We’ll train you in sandwich prep, baking, packaging, and customer service so you can shine from day one!
• Welcome every guest with a warm smile
• Build sandwiches to perfection using our standard formulas
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Keep the store sparkling clean—inside and out
• Prep fresh ingredients like onions, tomatoes, and green peppers
• Take out trash and recyclables, sweep and mop floors
• Follow all operational procedures and complete cleaning checklists
• Lift up to 25 pounds and maintain a safe, organized workspace
• Record employee meals and voids properly
• Provide friendly, professional service to every customer
