Job summary

Rottinghaus Company Inc., a Subway franchisee, is hiring a Sandwich Artist to join our fast-paced, customer-focused team. You’ll craft subs, greet guests, handle transactions, and help keep the store clean and inviting.

No experience required—training is provided, and we offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay with tips, free beverages, uniforms, and opportunities for career growth. Must be at least 16 years old.

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong teamwork and customer-service orientation.
• Willingness to learn sandwich prep and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be the face of Subway, crafting subs and delivering smiles with every order.
• Welcome every guest with a warm smile and friendly service.
• Build sandwiches to standard formulas and ensure consistency.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and grease-free.
• Prep fresh ingredients (onions, tomatoes, peppers) and stock supplies.
• Follow all procedures and complete cleaning checklists.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and maintain safety.

What You’ll do:

• You’ll be the face of Subway®, crafting delicious, picture-perfect subs and delivering smiles with every order. We’ll train you in sandwich prep, baking, packaging, and customer service so you can shine from day one!
• Welcome every guest with a warm smile
• Build sandwiches to perfection using our standard formulas
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Keep the store sparkling clean—inside and out
• Prep fresh ingredients like onions, tomatoes, and green peppers
• Take out trash and recyclables, sweep and mop floors
• Follow all operational procedures and complete cleaning checklists
• Lift up to 25 pounds and maintain a safe, organized workspace
• Record employee meals and voids properly
• Provide friendly, professional service to every customer
