Job summary

Subway is seeking a friendly Sandwich Artist to join our team in Newington, NH. You’ll focus on delivering a great guest experience, preparing and serving fresh food, and keeping the restaurant clean while collaborating with teammates.

As part of the Subway team, you’ll learn on the job with flexible Full Time/Part Time shifts, with opportunities for career growth and discounts. No prior experience required and education can be a high school equivalency.

Qualifications

• Some high school or equivalent
• No previous experience required
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction; physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assist Guests by knowledgeably recommending meal options and fulfilling their orders from start to finish
• Uphold food safety standards in food preparation and service
• Work with teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for Guests
• Operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register

Key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Working with our Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish
• Upholding food safety standards as you prepare and serve fresh food daily
• Working with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests

PREREQUISITES

Education: Some high school or equivalent

Experience: No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
